PLANNING THE SERVICE
Coffee Service Planned Around the Event
Every venue creates a different set of service conditions.
Coffee Malem reviews available space, building access, program timing, expected attendance, guest flow, and menu before defining the service format and staffing.
The objective is to provide enough capacity for the busiest part of the event without introducing more equipment or service points than the venue requires.

CHOOSE YOUR SETUP
Coffee Cart or the Coffee Truck?
Mobile Coffee Carts
Coffee carts are the most flexible option for offices, hotels, conference venues, retail spaces, private homes, wedding venues, and other indoor or limited-access settings.
One cart generally serves approximately 65 to 80 guests per hour. The actual pace depends on the menu, workspace, staffing, and how many guests order within the same period.
For larger audiences or shorter service windows, Coffee Malem can coordinate additional carts and baristas.
The Coffee Truck
The Coffee Truck provides a visible, self-contained service point for outdoor gatherings and other high-traffic environments.
It works best when the venue offers direct vehicle access, a safe and level operating area, and enough surrounding space for guests to approach and collect their drinks.
For indoor events or properties without suitable vehicle access, one or more mobile coffee carts will usually be the better fit.
EVENT TYPES
Events and Occasions
01
Corporate and Institutional Events
Coffee Malem supports conferences, employee appreciation programs, office gatherings, client events, grand openings, campus programs, and seasonal workplace celebrations.
Corporate planning often centers on timing. A steady flow of guests across several hours requires a different setup from a conference break in which much of the audience may order within 20 or 30 minutes.
Coffee Malem considers the program schedule, anticipated peaks, available footprint, building access, and whether service is needed across several floors or departments.
02
Brand Activations and Retail Events
For product launches, retail activations, agency events, and grand openings, the coffee station often needs to feel integrated with the event’s visual direction.
The menu and selected visual details, including drink names, cup sleeves, and signage, can be developed around the campaign or audience.
Artwork, quantities, production deadlines, and signage placement should be confirmed early. In compact retail environments, Coffee Malem also plans around entrances, merchandise displays, checkout areas, and customer circulation.
03
Weddings and Private Celebrations
A coffee cart can provide a dedicated hospitality point during a wedding reception, engagement party, anniversary, bridal shower, baby shower, or other private gathering.
Service may be planned around guest arrival, cocktail hour, dessert, the transition from dinner to dancing, or late-evening service.
For estates, private homes, and outdoor venues, planning may also include floor protection, weather exposure, power access, and the distance between the coffee station and the main guest area.
04
Large and Fast-Moving Events
Festivals, trade shows, public programs, campus events, productions, and sporting events can create short periods of concentrated demand.
Coffee Malem evaluates the expected audience, service window, station placement, menu, staffing, vehicle access, and weather conditions before recommending the final configuration.
